The Study of Constructivism Theory in the Field of Studying International Relations and its Necessity to Apply in the Foreign Policy Strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

In this paper, we will try to the origins of constructive theory in international relations and how this theory is influenced by its methodologies, epistemologies, and ontologies. Constructivism as a new approach to international relations studies by linking the realities of reality and the interpretations made of these realities in the minds of interpreters in this field of study seeks to create a new approach in the field of international relations studies. Which the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran needs to identify and apply this approach in its political and international relations. Therefore, in the present paper, after the explanation of the problem, the main question, the hypothesis and the theoretical framework emphasized for the framework of this paper, in order to get acquainted with the theoretical and practical aspects of constructive theory, the ontological, epistemological and methodological origins of this theory will be studied and discussed and the necessity and priority of this theory among the views of international relations in order to use it in the foreign policy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be discussed.
