Iran Financial Markets.Trends and Structural Problems (1384-85)

Abstract

Regarding the importance of economic growth for Iran and its close relationship with financial markets ,the article tries to find out the main obstacles and problems of Iran financial markets (IFMs) which have adverse affects on Iran economic growth. Historically IFMs suffer of several government interventions and regulations. Most of or in fact all IMFs have been and are two–sector financial market, official and nonofficial markets which in turn affects their optimal resource allocation . Unfortunately recent financial policies in money market and capital market have worsen the associated financial conditions and trends. Having classified and analyzed the trends and problems in both money and capital markets of Iran, some guideposts are advised which might change the current path. ,otherwise the economy will faces heavy nationwide costs and losses.
